Located in the beautiful foothills, just north of Cochrane, Brayco Stables offers board, lessons and training.

Owner Christina Hambrook has been teaching beginning to advanced riders for two decades. Some of her students have won Extreme Cowboy Racing Youth World Champion, 4H championships, Western Riders’gymkhana races, and dozens of awards at Extreme Cowboy Racing Alberta.

Christina competes in the pro division of Extreme Cowboy Alberta, consistently placing near the top. You’ll also find Christina behind-the-scenes mentoring new riders on how to get their horse out (or in) the trailer, relaxing nervous newbies and shouting encouragement from the sidelines.

She was awarded the Inaugural Doris Heintz Award for leadership.

Christina was a Ranch Girl with the Calgary Stampede riding high-energy horses at grandstand and rodeo performances. As an ambassador of the Stampede, she’s even ridden a horse down Wall Street in New York City!
